APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Currently the status is that SCCM collects
its data from nova. In the case of softlayer nova is showing
the admin user as being the owner of each VM. So this means
that SCCM is being given the incorrect information regarding
user_id and tenant_id. In ICO 2.4 FP1 the tenant id is correct,
but the user_id is still incorrect.

The problem is that Softlayer provides only a very limited set
of tags that we can use to add data to the provisioned virtual
machine. At the moment ( in FP1) this is enough to store the
project id within softlayer. We currently have put a
requirement in the SoftLayer database to support more tags.

Local fix
