  ...Step 3 in the "How to customize the user interface" states
  the following:
  "Create a folder that is called images under the
  customizations/{domainName} directory".
  
  Here, the code change is to look for the images under the newly
  created domain directory.
  
  Looks like the html that is rendered does not have the domain
  tag. Difficult to edit / fix this in the field as it requires
  changing a file the ui jar file.  Current work around is to put
  the images under the
  /opt/ibm/css/scui/etc/customizations/default/images directory
  

Local fix

• There is a problem reading these images from the domain
  specific images dir:
  
   "bannerLogo": "/customization/images/Cloud_Plain_Blue.png",
   "bodyBackgroundImage": "/customization/images/cloud.png",
  
  Workaround is to add the images to the Default images directory.
  
  This icon is working as expected - the image is picked up from
  the domain specific images dir:
  
    "loginLogo": "Cloud Data Services",

  * RECOMMENDATION:
  Workaround for this problem is to place the images for
  customized domain into the default/images directory.
  Restart SCUI.
  
  For permanent resolution apply IBM Cloud Orchestrator 2.4
  Fixpack 1 when available.
  
  PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
  The root cause of this problem was that the same image path was
  used for images on the login screen as well as images on the
  banner (when a
  user was logged into ICO). Separate paths are required to
  distinguish from images on the login screen (before a user
  authenticates) and
  images on the banner (after a user authenticates).
  
  The fix is included in IBM Cloud Orchestrator 2.4 Fixpack 1
  please refer to the documentation for details on how to
  customize the SCUI for a
  specific domain:
  
  IBM Cloud Orchestrator 2.4.0.1 > Administering > Managing
  settings > Customizing the user interface
