XX00222: MQ EXPLORER 8.0 ON WINDOWS: WHEN TRYING TO IMPORT USING FRENCH VERSION UNABLE TO SELECT A DESTINATION FILE OR FOL

Error description

• WebSphere MQ Explorer 8.0 on Windows using French version.
  When trying to Import, the dialog window is too
  small, which means that the button to launch the file selection
  dialog is not visible to the user.
  

Local fix

• Resize the dialog to be wider, or maxmize the dialog, in order
  to use the file selection controls.

  USERS AFFECTED:
  This issue affects users of the version 8 MQ Explorer who wish
  to import settings from another instance of MQ Explorer, and are
  running in one of the following languages:
  
  - Brazilian Portuguese
  - French
  - German
  - Japanese
  - Russian
  
  
  Platforms affected:
  Windows, Linux on x86-64, Linux on x86

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  When running MQ Explorer in one of the languages listed above,
  the label text displayed in front of the file selection text box
  and button was significantly longer than the corresponding label
  text in other languages. This caused part of the text box and
  button control to be displayed outside the initial bounds of the
  dialog, meaning that the dialog must be resized to use the
  control.
  

Problem conclusion

• The Import Wizard dialog page within MQ Explorer has been
  modified such that the if the file selection control is wider
  than the import dialog, the import dialog will automatically
  resize in order to display the button to launch the file
  selection dialog.
