SE67174: Category Facet Names do not display if parent category is unpublished

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If a parent category is not marked as published,
  HierarchyHelper.generateCacheableData does not populate the
  cache with the category name of the unpublished category or any
  of its subcategories. Because of this, even if a subcategory is
  published, the category facet does not appear on the storefront.

Problem summary

• USERS AFFECTED:
  WebSphere Commerce Version 7 and above who configure shallow
  publish on parent category and want to get published child
  categories.
  
  PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
  Category Facet Names do not display if parent category is
  unpublished
  
  BUSINESS IMPACT:
  Negative shopper experience since some category facet names are
  not displayed.
