SE60313: RATIONAL DEVELOPER FOR I (RDI) 9.1.0 REMOTE RECONCILLER PUSH OF SOURCE MBR WITH A PERIOD IN THE NAME FAILS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• An source member with a period in its name such as AA.BB.rpgle
  is imported into an iProject then changed.  The Remote
  Reconciler view will show the file simply as BB.RPGLE ignoring
  the first part of the name.  If the change is pushed to the host
  from here then a new source member will be created called
  BB.RPGLE.
  

Local fix

• To avoid this issue push the changes from the iProjects view by
  right-clicking on the source member and selecting action Remote
  Actions > Push Changes and the correct source members will
  receive the changes.

  Pushing an iProject source member that has a period in its name
  results in a new source member on the host with the first part
  of the name missing when using the Remote Reconciler.
  

Problem conclusion

• A bug results in the wrong name being used for Remote Reconciler
  push.  A fix has been provided that addresses the issue in the
  RDi 9.1.1 update.
