APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When editing RPGLE source using the Remote Systems LPEX Editor
and entering a two-line statement an error message is shown when
the first line is typed in and the Enter key pressed in order
to start the second line. This is expected because the statement
is incomplete. However, when thesecond line is typed in and the
cursor moved off of the line it is expected that the error
message would be removed since the satement is no longer in
error. However the error message remains.

Local fix

  • Make a change on the first line such as replacing a space with a
space then move the cursor off of the line and the error message
    will be removed.
