Error description

  • A project was created from IBM i source members containing
    935-encoded data residing in 937-encoded SRC-PFs. The
937-935 mapping setting is enabled in the RSE connection which
allows the members to display correctly in the Remote Systems
Editor. When the project is imported into another workspace the
Remote Systems Editor has a sourceEncoding value of 937 instead
of 935 and the Chinese characters are not displayed correctly.
Shift characters appear in the wrong locations. This is true
for any other CCSID mapping as well.

Local fix

  • Download the members again from RSE and they will appear
    correctly.
