SE54257: RDP 8.5.1 LIVE OUTLINE VIEW FAILS WITH A NULL POINTER ERROR

Error description

• After opening an RPGLE source member in the LPEX editor the
  outline view only has Files and Data Structures under Global
  Definitions. Clicking on "Refresh view" the outline does not
  change and a dialogue is shown with the message:
  "An error has occurred. See error log for more details.
  java.lang.NullPointerException"
  
  In RDP 8.0.3 this outline builds correctly.
  

Local fix

• In the RDP 8.5 live outline view there is a icon at the top of
  the view that is a down-pointing triangle. Click on this and it
  will open the properties. In the properties uncheck the checkbox
  for the option to update the outline while typing in the editor.
  Click OK to exit the properties then close and re-open the
  source member.  The outline will then work as it did in version
  8.0.
