APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When setting a browser with Chinese/Japanese as 1st preferred
  language, the RES Console is displayed in Chinese/Japanese.
  In RES deployed on Tomcat, the Chinese/Japanese texts in the
  about page and diagnostic page are not rendered correctly. There
  are multiple text sequences with '????' instead of
  Chinese/Japanese characters.
  

Local fix

• Locate about page and diagnostic page in the RES.war:
  res.war\protected\about.jsp
  res.war\protected\diagnostic.jsp
  
  add following line at the top of each page:
  <%@page pageEncoding="UTF-8" contentType="text/html;
  charset=UTF-8"%>
