APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • A rule added via synchronization disappear during completion of
an activity and is not visible in the release.

Local fix

  • As a workaround:
- in a new Rule Designer workspace, import the 'A2' activity
- disconnect from DC (keeping connection entries)
- reconnect to the 'R2' release
- in the Synchronize view, expand the tree down to the rule r,
right-click it and select 'Override and Publish'

Problem summary

  • In Decision center  a rule added via synchronization with Rule
Designer may disapear during completion of an activity and
won't be visible in the release.

Problem conclusion

  • The code is fixed.

Temporary fix

  • - in a new Rule Designer workspace, import the 'A2' activity
