APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When updating ODM 8.8.1 with RES and profile template features
only to ODM 8.8.1.2, installation fails with:
ERROR: Error during "complete" phase:

  ERROR: Error writing file <ODM_HOME>/configuration/config.ini

  java.io.FileNotFoundException:

  <ODM_HOME>/configuration/config.ini (No such file or
directory)

Local fix

  • Either:
- Add Rule Designer feature to ODM 8.8.1
- Create directory <ODM_HOME>/configuration

Problem summary

  • When updating ODM 8.8.1 profile
template and executionserver features to ODM 8.8.1.2 . The
installation fails with the following error:

Problem conclusion

  • The code will be fixed in the incoming fixpack

Temporary fix

  • Either:
- Add Rule Designer feature to ODM 8.8.1 when performing the
update
- Create directory <ODM_HOME>/configuration
