APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When a user types in a large number in DT cell, only a few digit
  is taken into account. For instance, 500 may become 50 or
  ÈÃúHig RiskÈÃ  may turn into ÈÃúHigh RiÈÃ
  

Local fix

• Two workarounds:
  1) arrow right or left or click on the DT cell to refresh the
  value properly.
  2) set a JVM property dtEditor.bypassKeyStrokeValidation.
  This property will prevent back an forth requests for each
  character entered in a cell of a decision table. This will
  disable the ability to have an immediate validation of string
  as they are entered but it does not have an impact on the final
  validation of the values in a cell.
  

Problem summary

• In decison center, when user type in a decision table cell,
  only a few characters are taken into account.  For instance,
  500 may become 50. This behavior is very visible on network
  with high latency.

• The code is fixed.
