Error description

  • To reproduce, in any project/branch in the Business Console:
    - create 2 rules R1 and R2
    - take a snapshot S1
    - rename R1 -> R3 and R2 -> R1
    - take a snapshot S2
    - restore snapshot S1 -> OK
    - restore snapshot S2
    ==> error: there is already a rule with name "R1".

Local fix

  • Workaround: rename R1 (for example, as R1_1) before restoring
    the snapshot.

Problem summary

  • In Decision Center Business console when restoring a snapshot
    that has a rule with the same name as a previous rule an error
    occured with the following message "There is already a rule
    with the name <ruleName>".

Problem conclusion

  • The code is fixed.

Temporary fix

  • Rename the rule before restoring the snapshot.
