APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• 1) In the sample server WAS Admin Console, create a user
  "rtsUser2" with password set to "a+a" (you need non standard
  character in the password to reproduce) and belonging to
  rtsUser group
  2) set teamserver.rsoediting.enable=true to your DC
  3) login to DC with rtsUser2/a+a
  4) explore a project, and edit a rule with RSO => it opens the
  rules in Word or Excel
  5) modify the rule, save it, and close it => you will get the
  login screen for DC, but with rtsUser2 / "a+a" it will fail
  with password error.
  6) try with a user that has a "normal" (alphabetic/numeric)
  password => it works fine
  

Local fix

• Use only rts Users with "standard" password (alphanumeric
  characters only)
  

Problem summary

• User password with a sepecial character needs to be formatted
  to prevent RSO password error.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code is fixed
