APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• By default every artifact is subscribed to be followed in the
  business console. As the project gets larger and the number of
  rules projects and baseline grows, the process of displaying
  the
  list of followed rules becomes very slow to the point where it
  never displays the list.
  

Local fix

• 1) disabling automatic notification:
  For each user  run the following commands from teamserver/bin
  folder  to disable auto follow notification, this will override
  the values in the profile
   ..\..\shared\tools\ant\bin\ant set-config-param -Duser=NAME_OF_
  USER -Dkey=autoFollowEnabled  -Dvalue=false
  It has to be run for each user it would not be easier to update
  the database with this information. This ant script uses the
  properties defined in the file teamserver\bin\teamserver-
  anttasks.properties, the properties rtsAdmin.login, rtsAdmin.
  password, server.url, datasourceName must be set to match
  Decision Center.
  
  2) clear all existing subscriptions:
  delete from ACTIVITYSUBSCRIPTION
  
  Existing subscription might also be saved in a backup table
  before deletion so that may be recovered once the performance
  issue is fixed (cf subscrBackup.sql queries).
  

Problem summary

• The query performing the search for followed iterms is not
  optimized when running in DB2. the SQL query needs rewriting
