  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The problem can occur with a repository that contains a
    large number of packages.
When a rule is updated, the ruleflow irls are cleared from irl-
    cache.
Then, on next ruleset generation, the ruleflows irl need to get
re-computed. This generation performs poorly if the ruleflow is
referencing one of those packages that contain a large number
    of sub-packages.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • When generating the ruleflow with large of number of packages
a large number of queries is used to resolve the dependencies
    for each task

Problem conclusion

  • the code is modified to reduce the number of SQL queries used
    to produce the ruleflow
