Error description

  • Using IE10 users may not be able to complete the action
"Project > Merge Branches" as the dialog is missing radio
buttons and rule artifact table needed for the merge.
The IE10 browser console shows:

Local fix

  • Edit the teamserver-<APPSERVER>.ear\teamserver.
war\project\mergeBaselineGrid.jsp
to add the line <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible"
content="IE=8"/> as per:
...

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=8"/>
<%@include file="/partials/common_head.jsp"%>
...

Problem summary

  • The merge javascript code is not compatible with IE 10 and
compliance to IE8 must be explicit.
