APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When synchronizing ruleflows between Rule Designer and Decision
Center, UUIDs may require some conversion from an older format
used in JRules to a newer one (in particular if the rule
artifacts were originally created in JRules 6.x).
The conversion may be done inconsistently on subflow tasks so
that Rule Designer may report subflow tasks as being not found
    and showing compilation error.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • UUID version 6 are replaced with UUID version 7 and this
happens when a ruleflow is loaded. However the mechanism does
not apply to subflow references leading to this error.

Problem conclusion

  • The code is modified so that all UUIDs are consistent including
    a subflow reference.

Temporary fix
