RS00338: THE REQUEST SUBMITTED TO HTDS IS CORRUPTED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When invoking HTDS using soapUI, once a String value is passed
  into a float type field, all subsequent executions are
  corrupted.
  
  Screenshot1 is a successful execution with a correct sample
  request (attached as well). The request is used to invoke the
  generated HTDS. The id field for the output parameter is copied
  directly from the input parameter, hence value remain the same.
  
  In screenshot2, we are passing a String value "ABC" to a field
  that takes a float, the initialValue field. This will lead to a
  failure execution, which is expected.
  
  In screenshot3, we are passing a correct type 2000.0 again into
  this initialValue field. However, this time, the execution
  failed again. The stack trace is weird as it's complaining about
  the id field in the other input parameter "order", which takes a
  float value, but somehow the passed in value is shown as
  "ABC1234.5", It seems the String value "ABC" in the above step
  gets cached somewhere and stored in the wrong field for the
  request and the correct value is appended.
  
  Screenshot4 shows another sample execution, as you can see the
  String "ABC" gets stuck in the id field and all subsequent
  request submissions get appended.
