APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In RSA, If the directory has a '.' in the name, it can't delete
it.  See the
attached screenshot showing that error message and that the
directory
does exist in the file system.

I'm able to reproduce the issue with RSA 8.0.4 and 8.5.1, and I
find that this
issue only happen in Deployment perspective, if I use other
perspective like Model
or Java, the folder with '.' can be deleted normally.

Problem conclusion


    

  • User should be able to delete any directory in Deployment
perspective. Changing to another directory is cumbersome and
should not be required.
