Error description

  • This is a code defect in the WL analytics code effecting the
statistics displayed on the Worklight console which is
misleading. The code defect has been identified for both the
issues. For versioning a workaround is provided but the fix
    will address both the issues.
WL analytics console is not displaying the new device count for
each day when acccessed on different days which is caused by
the raw data not bing properly sorted before compiled into the
    chart.
WL Analytics is not supporting app version number that's not
real number because the version numbers are currently stored as
    numbers rather than strings.

Local fix

  • Workaround for not supporting app version number that's not
    real number:
Concerning the issue that analytics data for version 1.1.0 is
    not
showing while that of version 2.0 is showing, this is indeed a
    defect of
IWAP. The cause is that version numbers are treated as real
    numbers.
Hence 1.1.0 would be considered an illegal expression and
    discarded and
    2.0 is an acceptable number.
Development team will work to fix this issue but for now could
    you ask
the customer to use version numbers that are real numbers as a
    workaround.
