APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Adapter procedures that have no "securityTest" property work
well with WL 6.0.0 but failed on WL 6.0.0.1.

Starting in WL 6.0.0.1, when the 'connectAs' property is
defined, it is required that 'securityTest' property is also
defined.  Without it, adapter will not work.
If both 'connectAs' and 'securityTest' are defined, then login
adapter failed since the user is not yet authenticated.
If 'connectAs' is not defined, then user's identity will not be
created.

Problem conclusion


    

  • The problems were fixed so that authentication functions
properly again.

The fix for this APAR is available in fixpack 5.0.6.2 and
fixpack 6.0.0.2.
