Error description

• Headline:
  Undefined element in namespace error using Generic Service
  Client to test web service.
  
  Abstract:
  Using the Generic Service Client to test a web service results
  in an undefined element in namespace error.
  
  Error Description:
  Having created a web service you now try using the Generic
  Service Client to test the web service.  This results in an
  undefined element in namespace error being reported in the
  Generic Service Client.
  
  WORKAROUND:
  No workaround at this time.

  The GSC incorrectly reports errors on operations so users
  will not be able to enter input values to their operations.
  The problem surfaces in this case where the WSDL imports
  external schemas.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fix for this APAR is included in Rational Application
  Developer v9.0.1.
