PM97577: PASSWORDS WITH BACKSLASHES CAUSE MALFUNCTION WHEN DEPLOYING TO WAS

Error description

• Deploying a Worklight project war file to WAS fails or produces
  a wrong datasource configuration if a database connection
  password contains a backslash.
  

Local fix

• Use a password without backslashes.

  When passwords with backslashes are being passed to wsadmin, the
  backslash is interpreted as the start of an escape sequence,
  thus producing a Python syntax error or a different password.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code now doubles backslashes in arguments to wsadmin, to
  neutralize the escape sequence interpretation.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently available in fixpack 6.0.0.1.
