* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: On WCG v8.0, a NoSuchEntityException    *
*                      is encountered when restarting a WCG    *
*                      611 batch job.                          *

When WCG v8.0 endpoint container runs in backward
compatibility mode, it removes the entry for the steps in the
POJOSTEP table after the job finished executing.  On a
restart, the container attempts to look for that entry, which
resulted in the NoSuchEntityException.  The runtime has been
updated to leave the entry in the POJOSTEP table.  They will
be cleaned up when a job is purged.

Problem conclusion

The runtime has been updated to leave the entry in the
POJOSTEP table.  They will be removed when a job is purged.
The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 8.0.0.4. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page
