APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The problem appears to be caused by uninitialised data in one of
the calling programs (CSQMORQ1). Note that subsequent runs of
the application program(s) results in the PUT completing
    successfully.

    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
A queue-remote specifies a clustered queue manager in the
RQMName field. When an application puts to this queue CSQMORQ1
invokes CSQMZLOO to find the clustered queue manager, passing
lLookupOpts as one of the parameters. This value should only be
    2 or 6 in CSQMORQ1. In V710 CSQMORQ1 generates lLookupOpts
by ORing, however if the value was not correctly initialised to
zero then CSQMZLOO will receive a bad input parameter which will
usually result in the cluster queue manager not being found and
    therefore a RC=2087.

Problem conclusion

  • CSQMORQ1 has been changed to initialise lLookupOpts to zero.
