Error description

• Attempts to access results using RTCP fail after a long period
  of inactivity with the following error:
  
  "An error occurred whilst fetching executions for stub
  (Software caused connection abort: socket write error)"
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  
  1. Create a project database using the MySQL provider.
  2. Run some test suites or stubs to create some results.
  3. View the results from RTCP
  4. Attempt to view some results after a long period of
  inactivity.
  
  EXPECTED RESULTS:
  
  The results are returned.
  
  ACTUAL RESULTS:
  
  The results cannot be displayed and the error message above is
  returned.
  The RTCP process must be re-started before results can be viewed
  again.
  
  WORKAROUND:
  
  Consult with your database administrator and investigate the
  setting of wait_timeout.
  You may be able to increase the timeout value.

Problem conclusion

• This problem was caused due to the timing out of pooled MySQL
  database connections within Rational Test Control Panel.  This
  problem was fixed in version 8.6.0
