PM95740: Processes accessing files in MVFS are stuck in D-state and cannot be killed

Error description

When multiple processes are accessing the same files through IBM
Rational ClearCase dynamic views, it is possible that one
process stats a file that is about to be deleted while another
process is attempting to close that file and the result is both
processes are stuck in the D state of 'uninterruptible sleep'.

Steps to reproduce: Exact conditions to reproduce are unknown.

Workarounds: None known.

Problem conclusion

The MultiVersion File System was modified to remove the deadlock
between a process deleting a file and one attempting to access
it at the same time.
