Problem summary

  • Problem specifying binary byte in Socket Receive regular
    expression

Problem conclusion

  • RPT now recognizes binary values in a regular expression and
handles matching appropriately. When specifying binary bytes in
a regular expression, the format is \\xhh where hh is the
hexadecimal value for the byte. For example:

      IBM\\xeb

would match the string IBM followed by the byte with value 0xeb.
