Error description

• Wrong parameters was passed by CSQXBPAL to CSQXBPSG
  which results in the 0C4 in CSQXBPAL as below:
  
  CSQ1,ABN=0C4-00000004,C=R3600.710.CHIN,
  M=CSQXDISP,LOC=CSQXRCTL.CSQXBPAL+00738
  
  A frequent occurrence of CSQX068I message might
  occur when CHINIT scavenger calls buffer pool.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Channel initiator may abend with S0C4   *
  *                      in CSQXBPAL if it runs out of usable    *
  *                      storage.                                *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  If a channel initiator gets very low on remaining storage it
  will invoke the chinit transmission buffer scavenger process
  which will attempt to reclaim any unused storage.
  
  This scavenger process may fail to invoke a module with the
  correct parameters and an unrelated parameter may be incorrectly
  passed in as residual data and overwritten.
  
  The overwritten parameter may now result in a subsequent storage
  allocation call failing to obtain the correct amount of storage
  resulting in an S0C4 abend in CSQXBPAL.
  

Problem conclusion

• The channel initiator transmission buffer scavenging process
  has been amended to ensure that the parameter is no longer
  overwritten.
