PM94496: 10.2.1 CHART VALUE LABELS CUT OFF WHEN LOCATION IS SET TO OUTSIDE TOP

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In IBM Cognos 10.2.1, using a column chart, when the Show Values
  property is set to "Outside top", the value label will not be
  displayed if the column reaches the top of the chart area.??This
  does not occur in earlier versions of the product (such as 10.2,
  or 10.1.1).
  

Local fix

• - Increase the height of the chart in the Size & Overflow proper
  ties to  accommodate the topmost value label.   - Increase the r
  ange of the y-axis to accommodate the topmost value  label. To d
  o this, click in the "Series (Primary Axis)" box of the  chart,
  click the "Select Ancestor" button beside "Properties", select
  "Primary Axis", and then modify the axis range to your desired m
  aximum  value, minimum value, and major interval so that all the
   value labels  are displayed.
