Error description

• In Add Reviewer box, if user select the arrow on the drop down
  magnifying box on the top left without selecting anything and
  then place the cursor for the FIRST time anywhere on the value
  then the ?Delete?key will not work. The only time things will
  work is when they reposition the cursor again without selecting
  the drop down magnifying box on the top left.

  Customer found once they have entered the search value in
  Add Reviewer box they can edit it prior to selecting
  'Search'. But if they select the arrow on the drop down
  magnifying box on the top left without selecting anything
  and then place the cursor for the FIRST time anywhere on the
  value then the ?Delete? key will not work. The only time
  things will work is when they reposition the cursor again
  without selecting the drop down magnifying box on the top
  left.
  
  In summary, once they have selected the drop down magnifying
  box on the top left you would need to reposition cursor
  twice on the search value.
  
  Please note this issue happened in IE 8 only, I tried Fire
  Fox v17.0.7 and Chrome V28.0.1500.72 and they all work well.
  
  Open an asset and try to add a reviewer. Put some value in
  the search filed then click drop down magnifying box on the
  top left without selecting anything. Place cursor to
  anywhere in the search string and process 'Delete' key on
  keyboard.
  

Problem conclusion

• an onclick handler to the search field that forces it to get
  focus.
