Error description

• Headline:
  Populating Oracle asset database by running scripts manually is
  not supported.
  
  Abstract:
  Attempts to follow documentation in RAM 7.5.1.2 infocenter
  regarding execution of scripts to populate Oracle asset database
  results in 'ORA-01704: string literal too long' error.
  
  Error Description:
  When attempting to run scripts to manually populate Oracle asset
  database you will get the following error
  
  'ORA-01704: string literal too long'
  
  Running the scripts manually is not supported.
  
  WORKAROUND:
  The workaround is to let RAM Setup application populate the
  Oracle asset database for you.  Since the Setup application is
  populating the Oracle asset database programmatically it does
  not encounter the error.
  
  The documentation will be updated to remove any discussion of
  running scripts to manually populate the asset database.
