Error description

  • After importing a unit and it's children onto the topology, if
you immediately try to rediscover the unit,?
the filter options 'Show Updated Units' and 'Show New Units'
filters display incorrect results. ?Technically?
they should not be returning any results at all, as there has
not been a discovery run since I imported the units.

Rediscovery unit and Rediscovery topology operations shows
incoming units when there are no differences between the
earlier discovered content and current inventory content.
Also, it does not handle properly the earlier discovered
content that is currently deleted in the inventory.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Rediscovery unit and Rediscovery topology operations are now
updated so that it does not show any incoming units when
there are no differences between the earlier discovered
content and current inventory content. Also, the earlier
discovered content that is now not present in inventory will
be set their install state as 'UnInstalled'.
