    Local fix:

    Workaround:
    1. Remove any Proxy connections temporarily from Internet
    Explorer
    2. Start Rational Software Architect: it should not crash
    3. Open the menu Window?Preferences?General?Network Connections
    in Rational Software Architect
    4. Change Active Provider from Native to Direct. In this way
rational Software Architect will no longer inherit the proxy
    configuration from the Operating System.
    5. Restore the proxy settings in Internet Explorer.
