Error description

  • Rational Developer for System z - RDz - v8.5.1: The real-time
syntax parser for PL/I may not use the correct code page when
analyzing include files.
As a result, syntax errors may be falsely identified at
the locations of INCLUDE statements, and the source hover
pop-up on INCLUDE statements may display the incorrect
characters for some characters.

PROBLEM RESOLUTION:
  RD/z correctly displays hover help and does not report
incorrect
warnings when users edit PL/I programs with include files
that do not use the default host character encoding (IBM-037).

The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
IBM Rational Developer for System z V8.5.1.4 Fix Pack which
is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
