  Rendering of diagram images is failing in some cases. The
  images under consideration are SVG images which are being
  used to show different domain elements in the diagram. When
  user tries to zoom-in or zoom-out the diagram, SVG images
  are scaled up/scaled down based on the zoom level.
  org.eclipse.gmf.runtime.draw2d.ui.render.internal.RenderHelp
  er spawns threads for each of the images that needs
  re-rendering. This does not seem to go well as some/most of
  the SVG images end up being un-rendered in multi-threading
  scenario and appears as white box in the diagram.
  

Problem conclusion

• Provided a thread safe mechanism for handling the document
  of the SVG images. Creating a copy of individual images
  using the same SVG document before providing them for
  rendereing.
