PM86463: A CAF ERROR IS GENERATED WHEN TRYING TO ACCESS THE LIST OF QUALIFIERS BEYOND THE FIRST 50.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• While creating new metrics using metrics studio and having more
  than 50 qualifiers in the system, it is unable to navigate to
  the next page of qualifiers when choosing the qualifers . Hence
  unable to select the qualifiers that are placed at after the
  first page of 50 qualifiers. Doing a search to find the
  qualifiers also result in the same error as attached screenshot.
  A workaround we found is to disable the CAF validation under
  congnos configuration, application firewall. However, this will
  cause the Portal to be subsceptible to damage through unwanted
  entry into the portal without the CAF validation. ??This issue
  is similar to an existing defect in 8.4 which was fixed
  COGCQ00202904. But I can again replicate the issue in both
  10.1.1 and 10.2 with client's metric store flat files.??Please
  advise what can be done to resolve this issue thanks Aisha
