Error description

  • Rational Developer for System  z shows an Incorrect Content
Assist error when a diacritic chr (???..) is placed inside the
sequence number (col 73-80) area.

When a source is edited with LPEX or PL/I Editor, the line is
flagged with the yellow triangle and the messages:
Multiple markers at this line
- ':' expected after this token
- 19 changed lines

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
   RD/z incorrectly displayed warnings in PL/I programs when

PROBLEM RESOLUTION:
  RD/z does not display warnings when diacritic characters are
used in sequence numbers in PL/I programs.

The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
IBM Rational Developer for System z V8.5.1.4 Fix Pack which
is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
