APAR status

Error description

• In IBM Rational ClearTeam Explorer (CTE), you cannot perform
  configuration management operations on your linked resources
  even when they are correctly linked in from the same
  project/view. When you select any of the  linked resources, none
  of the configuration management  functions are available in the
  IDE.
  
  Steps to reproduce:
  
  1) Create a java project in source control with a package
  'a.b.c.d'
  2) Add the project to source control.
  3) In a ClearCase vob using the same view as the project in step
  2, create a java file at an arbitrary location but ensure that
  it's package designation in the java file is a.b.c.d
  4) Load the project you created that is now under source control
  into eclipse and click on the project root
  5) In eclipse perform file-?new file and navigate to the bottom
  of the package a.b.c.d
  6) Push 'advanced' and check 'link to file in the file system'
  7) In the chooser, navigate to the file you created in step 3
  using the same view as the project, select the java file and
  click 'ok'
  8) click finish
  
  Requirements:
  
  The  vobs used for the project and file must be mounted
  for web views and the target file must be loaded.
