PM80393: Synergy webmode CLI session fails to start in 7.1.0.7 when no ccm.user.properties file exists in home directory

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Using Synergy 7.1.0.7 a webmode client will fail to start a CLI
  session if ccm.user.properties file is missing from the home
  directory of the user.
  
  The CLI session is started and the following stack trace is
  presented:
  
  java.lang.NullPointerException
          at
  com.telelogic.cm.client_util.CrToolUtils.readCredentialsFromProp
  erties(CrToolUtils.java:132)
          at
  com.telelogic.cm.client_util.CrToolUtils.getCrToolContexts(CrToo
  lUtils.java:115)
          at
  com.telelogic.cm.client_util.CrToolUtils.applyCrToolContexts(CrT
  oolUtils.java:85)
  
  Work Arounds:
  
  1)  Start a Java Client GUI session and it will create the
  ccm.user.properties file and the subsequent CLI sessions will
  start properly.
  
  2) Create the file manually on Windows or Linux.   On windows
  the file is ccm.users.properties on linux the file is
  .ccm.users.properties
  
  
  This problem is reproducible on Windows and Linux clients.
  
  This problem is not reproducible for 7.1.0.6.
