• Customer report against Informix 11.70 JDBC DQM data source
  errors:?---?XQE-PLN-0240 The expression of data item 'xxxx
  xxxxx' with aggregate=notApplicable may only contain references
  to other data items in the same query (1-part names).?---?When
  Crosstab Query Item has aggregation setting "aggregation = not
  applicable" applied. This Report has both chart and crosstab and
  contains rather complicated joined query. When customer changed
  "aggregation = minimum" report performance was poor. In-house
  testcase resulted error when aggregation was changed to 'min' or
  'none' or 'automatic':   ?---?XQE-DAT-0001 Data source adapter
  error: java.sql.SQLException: A character to numeric conversion
  process failed - when processing query SELECT... ?---?Report
  works fine when package is compatible query mode and is using
  native Informix db client.

• The Cognos software is behaving as designed. Upgrading to a high
  er version of the Informix JDBC driver resolves the XQE-DAT-0001
   error. The customer that initiated this APAR has modified their
   report and is satisified with the results.
