Problem conclusion

  • ¢â€” ¦Note: We update our information centers monthly. The
following Version 7.0 modifications will be available in the
January, 2013 update to the Information Centers. To access the
latest on-line documentation, go to the product library page
    at http://www.ibm.com/software/webservers/appserv/library and
select the version and product that is appropriate for your
    WebSphere Application Server environment.

The following Version 7.0 issues will be addressed:
    ----------------
    ID: PM78505
Problem: The information center does not document the
custom property "loggingDisable" for the HTTP Channel in the
channel chains. This custom property should be documented to
provide details to the customers with information on how to
disable properly the unwanted logging in the chain.

Resolution: Topic ¢â‚¬ “HTTP transport channel custom propertie
is updated to include the following description of the
    loggingDisable property:

    loggingDisable
Use this custom property to disable NCSA, FRCA, and error
    logging on the specified chain.

    Data type Boolean
    Default False

This update will also be made to the same topic to the V8.0 and
    V8.5 Information Centers.
    -----------------
    ID: 742684
Problem: When you are specifying multiple domains for
implementing single sign-on for web user authentications,
there is the possibility that you can specify cross domains
for the single sign-on. Cross-domain SSO is not supported.

Resolution: The Purpose table entry for a Domain value type of
Multiple domain names and UseDomainFromURL, that is included
in the Values to configure the Domain name field table, in the
topic ¢â‚¬ “Implementing single sign-on to minimize web user
authentications ¢â‚¬ ½, is updated to include the following not

Attention: Cross-domain SSO is not supported. For example,
chicago.xxx.com and cleveland.yyy.com where the DNS domains
    are different.

This update will also be made to the same topic in the V8.0 and
    V8.5 Information Centers.
