APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • NewDiagram'.

Note that, for this problem to happen, transitions must be
defined in a sub-package of the package that contains the
diagram in which they are actually used and originate from an
activity nested into another one.

Workaround

The only possible workaround is to open the model in Rose and
manually move the affected transitions into the package where
they are also displayed.

However this is only applicable to models who have a small
number of affected transitions.

This issue happens when transitions are moved to a different
hierarchy that that of the containing diagram. When the
transitions are being created before the source/target(Call
behaviorActions) are created. The transitions cannot be
created with unavailable source/target.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The issue of transitions in nested activities is now solved.
The unresolved transitions are re-iterated to resolve the
respective source/target. Now the transitions are created.
