PM75987: SA 11421: French Edition of Windows XP makes diagram windows too small

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After the first use, diagram windows can open and remain very
  small when System Architect is used with the French language
  edition of Windows XP
  
  Procedures to reproduce:
  1) On the French language version of Windows XP, open System
  Architect 11.4.2.1.
  2) Open a diagram
  3) The diagram opens up with the correct size.
  4) Close SA.
  5) Restart SA, and open the same diagram. Note the diagram
  windows open very small and are not resizable
  
  Expected Results: the diagrams should take the full extent of
  that area of SA's window
  
  Actual Results: the diagrams take up maybe one fifth of the area
  of SA's main window
  
  Workaround:
  
  In the sa2001.mst file  under the [SystemArchitect section] add
  the line:
  SA2001 version=11111
  
  Note: (Windows 7) this WA also causes the user to never be able
  to save a customized toolbar to persist to the next session
  because if you set the SA version to something other than the
  current version number SA will assume it needs to upgrade the
  toolbar file so it will load the default, which works but of
  course you loose your customizations.

  Invalid entries in toolbar file are causing SA not the
  properly initialize the diagram window.
  

Problem conclusion

• The toolbar file is being saved with an invalid parameter
  value for one tool.  This causes an error which is not
  handled properly leading to improper initialization of the
  diagram window.
