Error description
Creating an IBM Rational ClearCase Unified Change Managmenent (UCM) stream in IBM Rational ClearTeam Explorer (CTE) may report the error: CRMAP7009: CCRC command 'Mkstream' failed: Error: 'java.io.IOException: HTTP request failed with status '500'.' The stream is created successfully, but the error appears on the client side. All operations such as creating a view attached to the stream, checkout, checkin, deliver and rebase work as expected after the error is seen. Nothing is logged on the WAN server regarding this. The cause of this was found to be a memory allocation issue. Workaround: - Create streams from the command line or native client, not using a CTE connection to the ClearCase Remote Client (CCRC) WAN Server. - Ignore the error as the operation completes successfully.
