• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After upgrading to version 1.1.2.1/1.1.2.2 the template being
  used by the customer is not showing the correct output. The text
  that was centered in 1.1.2 is now showing off to the left

Problem conclusion

• Code explicitly clears the formatting when a new blank line
  is written and hence the issue while writing a multi-line
  text (each line is written separately to the document and a
  blank line is written, the formatting was being cleared).
  The fix is to avoid from clear the formatting while handling
  a region element, so that the formatting is retained from
  the stylesheet.
