APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When generating a DCM transfer package that is to be compressed
  using 'Manual' or 'Copy' modes, and a previously non-existent
  filesystem directory is specified,  the generate operation will
  successfully create the directory and export the objects to that
  location, but the compression stage will fail causing the
  generate operation to fail as well.
  
  If started from the Classic GUI, a dialog will appear: 'Serious:
  Transfer package compression phase aborted. Check logs for
  details. [OK]'
  
  All data will be removed from the newly-created directory, but
  the new directory remains and is empty.
  
  Here are the  messages from a generate from database 'H' to 'S'
  of the 'ico' transfer set being written to previously
  non-existent directory

  Subsequent generate operations succeed when using a directory
  path that already exists.  Hence repeating the same generate
  operation to the same path succeeds.
