APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Customer is trying to record a socket test for managed
    application but when he starts a new recording, the application
    is not launched. RPT shows current status :Active and then to
    Terminated.
    
    TSE had a remote session to look at the issue at customer end. I
    could also replicate the problem on a VM with RPT 8.2.1.4
    Steps followed:
    1. Created Test from New Recording
    2. Select Socket Test
    3. Provide application path as C:\Windows\System32\Notepad.exe.
    4. Click Next -? Finish.
    First time the application is launched but in subsequent tries
    of above steps, application is not launched.
