Error description

• Abstract:
  
  Performing the 'Cut' action on any text in the body of an XHTML
  file causes the whole tag around this text to be removed.
  
  Problem:
  
  Open any XHTML file with the Rich Page Editor, select the meta
  tag attribute text 'Content-Type' and perform a cut action (i.e.
  Ctrl-X on Windows) then you will notice that the entire meta tag
  is removed.
  
  This only happens the first time you Cut/Copy something after
  the file was opened
  Subsequent Cut/Copy operations works as expected
  
  Local fix:
  
  Do not use the copy or cut action on this text; instead,
  manually edit the content.

  This problem was caused by incorrect focus handling between
  the Design and Source panes when the editor is first opened.
   It corrects itself after the user manually sets focus back
  a second time but should have defaulted to a correct state.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fix for this APAR is included in Rational Application
  Developer v8.5.1.
